This time of year, after the deer season in SC, I take my Rem VS SSII and trim all of the pine limbs off of trees that are blocking my shooting lanes around my deer stand. The 204 with 39BK's will cut a loblolly pine branch up to 2" diameter with one shot. 3" and larger will take 2 or 3 shots. I can chop wood out to 300 yds with the 8x32 Burris. Can't do much on a windy day!

Logging with guns! Yea, I've done that also. Years ago a friend let me shoot his .32 revolver and I topped a pine tree with it. Boy did we get a laugh out of that! Gary

That's a GREAT idea! I have a couple stands that are high enough that I can't trim the limbs with a pole saw.
