MY NEW STOCK!!

Post by Wiiings12 »

Finally got my Boyd's stock for my Remington! ..after what seemed like an eternity of waiting (12 days  )
Here's some pictures

Sorry if the quality isn't too good..

I love my new stock! Boyd's does a great job! Completely drop in stock and fits flawlessly.

Ughh.. I don't think I'm doing the picture thing right..

P.S.- I got the bolt release to work smoothly after about an hour of cleaning! That little lever was pulling some kind of gunk of out thin air! After things were clean I hosed it down with some rem-oil. Good to go!

Looks great!

Curious, what color does Boyds call that?

I'd love one for my .270 Remington 700 SPS

It's their laminated pepper wood. I'm not sure if you want the same style as I have, but if you do.. be ready for a treasure hunt. Everyone was out of that style, but I found one eventually! Boyd's makes less of them because they make more of a profit from the thumb hole stocks.
