Actually...

Paul over at 6mmBR contacted me a few days ago and asked if he could use what I had put together on my web site over at his site. I graciously gave him the go ahead. My procedure is a collection of things I've learned over the years about impact plating.

Kevin good to see you back.

The heat thing really works wonders. I put my tumbler bowl, steel shot, WS2 and cleaned bullets in the oven on its lowest setting for at least an hour before tumbling. Gets everything toasty warm and dispells any humidity.

Prior to using this method my coating process was hit or miss. I think accumulated humidity in the shot was the culprit for some occasional bad results.

WRZ - Where do we order your "final polish" sock? :)

Keep the shot in a sealed container when not in use seems to help.
