I've been waiting for this day for a few weeks now.It's a Les Baer Ultimate AR .223 Super Varmint with 20" 1-9 twist barrel. A 204 upper is ordered though. I couldn't help but put my NF on top . Can't wait to see what she'll do with some hand loads. Due to the 70+ mph winds, I don't think i'll be shootin her today .

Is the .204 upper you ordered also a Baer?

I like the 204 but dayumm!! That thing will put an eye out at 100yds with factory Federal 69's if I'm reading that correctly!! Nice rig & I think you otta leave the NF on her. They just look so content together.

Thanks for the comments. That's the factory target in the picture. I'm thinking I should pock up some Factory Federal ammo . I'll be at the range Saturday morning regardless of the weather. As for keeping the NF on top ,I'm not sure. I have a Bushnell Elite 6500 4-30x50 ordered for it. Got a great deal on it too..$700 . And last but not least, Yes, The ordered 204 upper is a Baer. I hope it takes it's time getting here . Gotta save some $$$$ for peanutbutter and mac&cheese

I think there are a few guys on this forum,planning on shooting the postal shoot,who are hoping that upper takes it`s time to arrive

Where'd you find a 6500 for $700. I'm intrigued.

My local shop gave me a deal. Finally

I measured the chamber and a 69gr Sierra match King will touch the lands at 2.300 from base to tip. The Federal factory ammo is 2.250 long. I guess it likes a .050 jump to the lands. We'll find out Saturday if they used a hole punch to make the factory target

Now we know who has all the money. I shot a friend of mines Les Baer and it shot sweet. Very Nice! I got Dtech instead and they shoot pretty good too.
