Hi Everyone,
Im new on here so i would like to say Hi to everyone first of all. I have a CZ 527 American in 204. I dont really know too much about the 204 cartridge. Its not very popular around here. How accurate is this cartridge? Im shooting 32gr Remington Accutips right now and they are shooting well but i would like to try different ammo to see if i can get better results. I didnt measure my groups exactly but i stay right around 1/2in 5 shot groups at 100 yards becasue i usually pull on one or two shot and stay right around 1in at 200 yards. Is this normal accuracy? I have pics of my groups but dont know how to load them.

I guess im doing pretty good if those groups are at 100 yards. My 200 yard groups with factory ammo is better them some of them and about the same as most of them.

Hard to tell from this angle since you "didnt measure" your groups.
Here is the info for getting your pictures posted.

The targets for the next postal shoot go out in about 3 weeks. Ask for a target, shoot it, send it back and I'll measure it for you.

I think i figured out how to load pics so here goes my shot at it. The first pic should be 5 shots at 100 yards and the second is 10 shots at 200 yards. If theya re backwards im sure you can figure out which is which.

It appears to me that you are getting .5 MOA, if not better. If you measure the groups center to center with a micrometer, they appear to be no larger than .4 inches at 100, and .8 inches at 200. With factory ammo and the sporter weight 527, I would consider that very good.
I am interested in the 527 in a lefthand 204. How do you like it? Do you like the set trigger?
I have a 452 in 17 HMR and it has been an excellent rifle.

I love the CZ. I didnt get the Varmint model because i use it for turkeys and walk miles every day with it so i didnt want the extra weight. I love the set trigger also. Mine came set at 12oz but i turned it down to 7oz. he last time i went ot the range i shot 3 rounds at 200 yards to check my sights and kept all 3 shots completely inside the circle. I think they would fit in a 3/4in circle. It was raining so the targets were trashed when i took them down to get pics. I just wish i could shoot this good at 200 yards all the time.
