waiting, waiting, waiting.

i guessed a few people on this web site have ordered custom rifles, so how long do they normally take for the parts to arrive and how do you pass the time?
ive just ordered stock and barrels and there gonna take 6 months and ive only been waitng 2 weeks so far, i dont know if im gonna make it, lol.

I feel your pain. I built my custom Stolle Panda action, Lilja barrel, Shehane stock, Jewell trigger and NightForce scope a while back. Several good natured souls on this forum had to keep reminding me of how good it would be when I got it all together. It took about 9 months to get all the parts together. Then it took a couple of more months for the smith to get finished. All in all it took about a year.

Just keep reminding yourself how sweet it will be to take that new rifle out and pull the trigger. Here's a little something to help you out. A picture of what it is you're waiting for. The end result well justifies the wait.

even the four month wait on my cooper seemed long
just like skipper said (Just keep reminding yourself how sweet it will be)
then go shoot something to make the time go by :D
