Here is a pic of my Ruger 77 Ultra lite all weather.Scope is weaver 2to 10 .Seeing how this thing groups an upgrade in glass is mandatory.

Nice rig!! Whats it's main purpose?? That scope might be just what you need for predators in brushy areas where they'll be within 100yds. Just a thought.

Main purpose is walking varminter/predator for open mountainous terain.Thinking of going either with a Burris or Leupold in 4-12x42 or 4.5-14x42.Its not so much a hair cut as a genetic modification to cool a large and complex brain.

You won't find a better scope for a walking varminter than the Leupold VX-III 4 1/2 - 14. Crystal clear, easy eye relief, not too big, and just the right power range. Been using one on my 22-250 light sporter for years...

Both are very good choices for what you're doing.
