G'day
This is my first post and was just chasin a bit of info from you guys if thats ok. I have just had an old heavy barreled Tikka 222 rebarrelled to 204 and loaded up some 39grn Blitz Kings with 28.5grns win748 and seated the bullets about the same depth as hornady 40grn factory load for running the barrel in. This load shoots 1/2 inch but I am looking to improve on this. What i would like to know is when trying to find a load that your rifle likes most do you play around with seating deapth first or powder charge. And can any one tell me what load they use for reloader 10x with 39grn Bks.
Cheers.

I've been getting great results with 24.8 grains of 10x with both 39&40 grain bullets. approach any max. load carefully to make sure your rifle doesn't generate too much pressure. Silverfox and others have successfully used more than 25 grains of 10x. Check the favorite loads in the reloading forum for many examples.
