It wasn't that easy, $700 later, I have a new computer, and I'm ready to fight  This new Vista program is for the birds, it's learning curve is like trying to flap your arms and fly like a bird. Keep your old XP machines running as long as you can!

My brother bought a new laptop about a month ago, and the first thing he did when he got home with it was, call me and say, "Help..."

Like you, I told him I was just now getting used to XP, so wasn't any help at all. I'm pretty much the go-to guyin the family, when it comes to problems with their 'puters. But with the new Vista program, I'm just as in-the-dark as they are. :?

Good luck...

Switch back to XP and let MS work the bugs out of Vista for the next few months. A computer that you can't/does not work properly is a glorified paper weight.
