Zumbo makes the national news
There is a very interesting development. Looks like we are being labeled as unforgiving and quick to attack without mercy.

Wow, that was swift and immediate action on the behalf of all parties involved with Zumbo. It's also a lesson for our new liberal/Demo Congress. We have quite a voice it appears, and I for one hope the Demo's take note of this.
It also illustrates that if you're tired after a long day, in a bad mood, or just have a burr up your butt, don't post anything on the internet!
You know what they say: Once it's out there.......you own it.

"unforgiving and quick to attack without mercy." Hmmm.......
Considering the source, msnbc, I consider that a good thing. I don't want them to think we'll just roll over for them, and beg for more of their bovine effluence. I'm just flat out tired of the fecundity of their arguments, and I'm not willing to put up with them any longer. They roar the loudest when First Amendment rights are pummelled, they can't expect us to do any less when they try to trample the Second Amendment. A pox on their houses.

My concern was that WE the gun owning public might be seen as somehow radical or irrational. If the Legislative Branch started viewing us as quick tempered that might make them scared of us. There could be nothing worse than having them scared of us. That would mean that they view us as a threat. Hillary would have a field day with us if elected. I fear some would like nothing better than to disarm Americans.

"This shows the zealousness of gun owners to the point of actual foolishness," said Pat Wray, a freelance outdoors writer in Corvallis, Ore., and author of "A Chukar Hunter's Companion."
The above quote from the article by another outdoors writer is not very helpful. Does anyone know him or what his agenda might be?

It was another outdoors writer who said those things."This shows the zealousness of gun owners to the point of actual foolishness," said Pat Wray, a freelance outdoors writer in Corvallis, Ore., and author of "A Chukar Hunter's Companion."
Wray said that what happened to Zumbo is a case study in how the NRA has trained members to attack their perceived enemies without mercy.
"For so many years, Zumbo has been a voice for these people -- for hunting and for guns -- and they just turned on him in an instant," Wray said. "He apologized all over himself, and it didn't do any good."

skipper, the pantywaists that want gun control are already afraid of us, we won't lay down for them to do their thing, TO US. I'm at the point where I just don't care what they think any more, why should I give them the same courtesy they fail to afford me?

glenn asher, No boys and few men can bring someone down off the chuckar hill. I suppose when we got to town we could call a helicopter, but I usually don't have a quarter. We have been out with a couple "expert" chuckar hunting writers over the years and they usually don't make it up the hill let alone down.
Maybe they will take us seriously then lol. I don't consider anything they gun control crowd has done as rational.skipper wrote:My concern was that WE the gun owning public might be seen as somehow radical or irrational.
