I call this pic "The Good, Bad and Ugly" although they are not necessarily in that order

Top is the Nesika 6MMAI
Middle is the Cooper .17 Mach IV
Bottom is the Savage 12FV-S .204 Ruger in a Stockade LRB stock (not shown with the current barrel)

Cooper Montana Varminter in .204 Ruger. I will lap the rings tomorrow and add a Leupold VX-III 6.5-20x40mm Long Range scope to it. I will then take my own pictures of it.

Cooper Varmint Man,
What kind of sand bags and stand is that? Cabela's has something that looks close to it, but not the red knobs...and their rear bags don't seem as big.

Also, on the Phoenix with the 50mm Leupold, are those Medium hight rings?

The bag is a Protektor bag (#13): http://www.sinclairintl.com/cgi-bin/cat ... type=store

The stand is a Sinclair International benchrest model: http://www.sinclairintl.com/cgi-bin/cat ... type=store

High Leupold rings were needed for a 50mm scope objective to fit on this Phoenix.

Thanks. I take it a 40mm Leupold would fit with medium rings?

Low or medium will both work. A friend and hunting buddy of mine (Lunde on this forum) prefers the medium rings. He mention that the eye relief can be affected if you go too low. I trust Ken since all his advice to me has been spot on over the years. I've seen him and his dad shoot/hunt. They know what they are doing. They own and have set-up almost 30 Coopers between them.

I will be lapping the medium rings today to mount my VX-III on my Cooper MTV.

Here is a picture of one of Ken's Phoenix Model 21s using the same VX-III and medium ring set-up:
