So far I’m having good results with 35gr Bergers loaded up by HSM or from Hendershots custom ammo. Still depends on where you hit them. Once I shot one facing me under the chin. It blew a 6” strip out of its back and unfortunately it was not dead. The other 4 that I’ve shot have been fine.

Havnt shot a fox but the 40 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip from Federal serve me well. I keep a 12 ga with Hornady Nickle plated BB in it for up close and multiples up close. Try to stop shotgunner at 30-40 and .204 shots 100+. Closer to 150 is best.

That question has come up many, many times here over the years, and the overwhelming choice for coyotes using the 204R has always been the 35gr Berger.

I started using the .204 this year. I was trying to find the most fur friendly round for it. These are all shot with 35gr Berger. One did have a decent hole but was more because of my shot placement..
