204 w/ 55 gr berger bullets 1:8 twist

I'm looking to build (or buy a good used one) a 204 w/ a 1:8 twist so I can shoot the 55 gr berger bullets. B.C. is supposedly slightly better that 55 gr .22 cal bullets. Anyone have a setup? What do you think? Any for sale? Thanks,

L. Sherm at Hilltopgunsmithing.com is working with 1/8 and 1/9 twist 204 cal barrels. You might give him a call or contact and see what he can offer. Bill K

The Bullet BC of a .20 cal 55 grain Berger is a lot better then a 55 grain .22 Bullet of any description.

I would check out pacnor. They make a 1:7 for .204.faster twist the better

I just got my custom built 204 in. Rem trued action. Wilson 1:8 barrel. Timney trigger. Hs precision stock. Texas tan cerakote w spiral flute Breaking it in now. Will give results.

The gun shoots great. 3280 fps w h4895 powder and rem br primers. 1.910 ogive oal
