Finally go to the range with the T/C Venture. Vortex Crossfire II Scope. Bore sighted.
40 gr VMAX factory ammo. Amazing tight group at 50 yards.
Moved back to 100 yard. Sub-MOA. Too lazy to set up a target at 200, but saw an old discarded clay sitting atop the target. Boom. One shot. Little holdover for elevation; slight adjustment for windage.
Love it!!

Try 39 gr. sierra, shoots a whole lot better than the hornady 40 gr. in my T/C Venture, of course this is my reloads using 25.2 grain of RX10.

Bought the 204 Venture because of the 10 twist. My Savage 25 would not shoot the factory load Hornady 40 gr. and I had a ton of them. I will try the 35 Berger and 39 Sierra but I am 5 for 5 @ 185 to 210 Yards and still have a lot to burn up.

Sorry. Have been busy and not had much chance to shoot or even clean this rifle. Finally go around to it this week. Scope base on the Venture seems to be a common problem. Darn thing had come loose. Re-seated it and used some loc-tite. Hopefully it stays put. Did some plinking.
Still shooting the 40 Gr VMAX ammo from Hornady. Good tight groups.
Have to try the 32 gr Fiocchi someday, to see if it shoots better.

Hi I bought the TC Venture 204 because of the 1@10 twist topped with a Nikon Buckmaster 6x18x40mm target dot scope. Some of my friends shoots 1@12 they can't shoot 40 gr v max. Mine will great. But my goto bullets r a 39 gr bking with ww brass rem 7 1/2 BR primer and RL10. And 35 gr Berger hp ww brass rem BR primer with H4895. Both loads will loads will shoot a 5 shot group u can cover with a dime.
