I've been spoiled by shooting suppressed rifles. I just built an AR in .204 Ruger with a threaded barrel but now would like to buy a bolt rifle in the same caliber that is "suppressor ready." Does anyone make such a beast. I know Savage has come out with a few new rifles with threaded barrels but I can't find one in .204 Ruger. I just hate to spend the added bucks (again) to get my barrel threaded.

Ruger makes the American Predator in .204 Nice little rifle, but nothing fancy. Retails for around $400

I also am looking for a Ruger American Predator in 204R. None in my area yet. It does have the threaded barrel that you want. Bill K

I have one Bill...Haven't had a chance to fire it at long distance, but at 50 yds it prints 1/2" groups. Hopefully in a week or two I can give it a real test..

CZ 527 American (if you can find one) comes in .204. I looked locally for a RAP in .204 and the local
guys couldn't find one in their pipelines anywhere. Went to a gun show in March and one vendor
had three of them in .204. Changed the tupperware over to a Boyd's Forest Camo Laminate, and
it looked pretty snazzy. Unfortunately, due to a chamber problem, had to send it back in this
week. Hopefully, Ruger Customer Service will treat me as well as others have reported.

Just got it back. Will start another thread after shooting it.

Well, I couldn't find locally what I wanted so ended up buying a used Remington 700 chambered in 204 Ruger. Took it to my guy locally who threaded it. Haven't had a chance to get back out to shoot it suppressed yet since I'm traveling.
