20" barrel for 204

Building an ar in .204 ruger, want a shilen 24" but they can't seem to find a barrel, shilen keeps changing the dates on when they will be available so looking into other options, any suggestions? Or anyone have a 204 in 20" with some insight on how well they perform?

1835BUGGY, I have a 24" 204 Shilen & also a 24" White Oak Armament. If I were going to buy another it would be a WOA. Their 204 twist is 1-10 and you can get it in several barrel lengths ready to drop in an AR. I also have 2 WOA 223 barrels on AR's & they are awesome. I ordered a barrel from them in Jan. fluted & bead blasted, and they told me 6 weeks & I had it in 3 weeks. If you want to speak with someone at White Oak, Jane is very helpful. Forgot to mention, unless you just want to build your own upper, you can buy a 204 ruger varmint upper complete from White Oak. Their online catalogue list 204 uppers 20, 24, or 26 inch for 765.00-775.00. JD

I have a 20 barrel on my Tikka and have a target sitting in front of me with a .190 group on it at 100 yrds. They do alright as far as iv tested.

I have a 20" barrel on an LMT monolith rail platform AR.
You will need to read about the MRP as you will need an upper to accommodate the barrel.
I can swap my .223 barrels for my 204 barrel with a small wrench.. Two minutes. No loss of zero
