Redfield Revolution for .204?

Hi all. Looking to buy my first centrefire, in .204, and am considering either a CZ 527 American, Tikka T3 Hunter, or possibly Ruger M77 MkII.

So I don't have the rifle yet but have chanced upon a used Redfield Revolution 4-12x40 scope, VGC, with 5/8 alloy rings to suit Tikka T3, for AUD$280. I plan to use the rifle for 100-200m+ foxes, hares, rabbits and feral cats.

Fairly new to centrefires so I'm interested in opinions on whether this is a suitable (and good quality) scope for the intended application, and will these rings fit either of the above rifles or will I need to buy different rings?

Revolutions 4-12-40

I have a Redfield revenge 4-12x40 on one of my .204s. Not the same model but I do like the glass.

Thanks for the comments. Also checked out a Bushnell Elite 4-16x40 which I liked the look of.
