Another 204!

Post by richness »

Hi guys :)
I've been running a 204 for ages and am just having another built in a lighter rifle
Here's a video of my RPA in action on my channel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqqsqZOJIqA
and some info here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qbEWhvcE6jA

The new build is a Tikka 595 with some very very special wood, that i'm rebarreling from an old pitted 222 barrel to a nice Lothar Walther in 204, ready to shoot the 32gr at very high speed :) I know the 40s are much better ballistically but this is my truck gun and light and fast is ample for my sub 350y needs for this rifle. Indeed, that's the reasoning behind the short 21" barrel

It's amazing choosing yet another 204Ruger - this is my fourth! All the calibres out there and i just keep coming back to this one :)

I'll post up some pics of the 595 when it's ready for action
Best regards from the UK, Richard Utting (sharpshootingUK)

The 204 Ruger is a a great one, but I sure would add at least one 20VT to them. :D Sort of a little brother. Bill K :)

Yes a 20 VarTarg is a great addition to the 20 caliber club for sure. It is one of my favorites. Be sure to add one to your collection, you will not regret it!

I like all of my 204's but Bill K. & Sidewinderwa are correct, a 20VT is a nice supplement.
