What do you think or want to buy? What caliber/model? I have to do this in order to keep the dream alive...
My next three;
1) Savage Model 25 in .17 Hornet ... Sounds like just what the ground squirrel doctor ordered.
2) Cooper M21 Montana Varminter in .20 Vartarg ... Awesome cartridge, the Cadillac of factory rifles. I need to pamper myself. Rock chuck, PD, skerrlz!
3) Savage Model 12 in 6mm Norma BR ... Just want to reach out there and touch something.

Now to start saving money...

1) Kimber m84 20Tac
2) 17AH or just the 17Hornet....havent decided on rifle
3) or 17FB

1) Big Mac from McMillan in a single shot.

2) Ruger #1 in 375 Ruger.

3) Ruger red lable shotgun in either 20 or 12 gage.

17Hornet for me maybe.

Build a 6.5x55 on an old Mauser or Savage action at Robert Gradius' (sp?) 1-week class.
Self-build a .20 Practical AR-15 with a good, good barrel.

A 20 VarTarg ,Stillers LPRB drop port,with a Hart barrel 1:12,jewell trigger,and thumbhole laminated stock.

A custom Mini 14 in 20 TAC.24" heavy custom barrel(.780) 1:11,2 lb trigger,thumbhole laminated stock.

I m an old timer who got his first rifle in 1949. There is a 17 HM2, 17 HMR, 17 Fireballl and 17 Rem rifle in the gun case so my next rifle to try out will be a 17 Hornady Hornet. I have a 204 Ruger rifle but my 2nd and 3 rd rifles will be a 5 MM 20 Cal Sheridan pump up Silver Streak air rifle and a Benjiman Mdl 347 17 Cal pump up air rifle that is if I can find them good old air rifles. About five years ago got an old Benjiman Mdl 312 made prior to 1957 and then repaired it. That old air rifle got me started collecting and repairing pump up air rifles so now I have Benjiman, Sheridan, Benjiman Sheridan, and Crosman pump up airrifles. Set up a portable benchrest in my den and a target pellet trap 10 meters away in the storage room so whenever its to windy, to cold, or to hot to shoot out side I m having fun with the air rifles . I have three great grand sons . So I ll start the oldest shooting air rifles with open, peep, and then scope sited rifles this winter.

Well I have my Savage 12-VLP up for sale as a big heavy varmint rig doesn't really suit the hunting I do, so next up will be something sporter-weight in 204/223/243 or something similar.

Most likely another Savage - the 11-BTH looks good, as does the 10PC.

1) Mossberg 930 set up for 3 gun from Salient arms.
2) Build a Ruger M77 or Mauser
M24 in 260 Remington with a 24" Kreiger barrel.
3) Build a 10mm 1911.

I have two of my next three on the way or on order, now I'll have to pay those off before I start on the 6mmBR. Lots of ammo to make in the meantime!

This thread got me to thinking, I have several rifles in the works, 17 Fireball on a Mini Mark V, 204 on a Savage Axis, 20, Short Short Krag on a Hepburn, but I think my next 3 are all going to be the same rifle, I have 3 591 Remingtons that I am converting to center fire. One will be a 17 Hornidy Hornet, I already have a 17HH on a Low Wall but its a heavy Varmint rifle so this one will be a light weight carry gun. The next 591 will be in 20 Hornet. The last one will be a switch barrel gun starting with a 14x30, a 14 caliber based on the 4.6x30, then 17, 18, 19, 20 all bassed on the same case. That should keep me off the streets for a while.
