Hey everyone!

Made it home finally. Now the wife and I are jumping through hoops trying to get ready for holidays and at the same time pack up and get movers to pack our stuff. We are headed to Germany for 3 years where I will be assigned to 173rd ABN and I will be deploying to Afghanistan in October. Yeah, finally a change of scenery. I was getting tired of the same old thing in Iraq.

Hope everyone has a great holiday season. Hopefully I will get out to call some dogs.

Take Care!

Old School: Glad you're home with the family buddy! Now it's on to the "other" sand-box eh? Again, keep your head low, powder dry, come home safe again to your family, and I still promise to leave you some dogs "out back" where we both love to go.

All the best to you and your family....Merry Christmas!

It's good to hear from you again. It's been a while. I'm glad you're home, safe, for the holidays. I don't understand why you want to go to Afghanistan, but I'm with you in spirit. I'd rather see you home for good.

Thanks everyone. I hope the weather has been kind to ya'all lately. I got out after our first snow and never saw a thing, not even any sign.

Germany will be ok I guess except for no yote hunting. I much prefer going to afghan. where the enemy will stand a face you a little more than in Iraq. Iraq has toooooo many IED's and not enough brave enemies. They all want to blow you up and hide in crowds of civilians there.

I Will be drinking some good beer and thinking of all of you.

Oh by the way, while I was gone I had SSS time and true my 12VLP action, install a new recoil lug and a tactical bolt handle for hunting with gloves on. That rifle shot great before now it is ridiculous! I am not getting much work done with that thing calling to me every day.

Take Care EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
