Fellas,

When I get dumped on by 22-250 drivers, I simply throw back trajectories and wind drift figures (204 vs 22-250) - they shut up real quick!
Cheers

This post was on a different forum about the 22-250 vs. 204.
Comparing the .204 to the .22-250 is like comparing a Ford Fiesta to a Lexus. They are totally different rounds for totally different uses. Whoever compared a .204 Ruger to a .22-250 for predator hunting is completely missing the boat! The .204 Ruger is a fine round for light game but it has nowhere near the trauma delivering potential of the .22-250. If you are going to knock off prairie dogs and woodchucks (and watch your hits through the scope) the .204 Ruger is a good choice... but if you want to knock over a coyote at 200 yards on wind swept prairie the .22-250 is the better way to go.
I told him the 250 was the ford and the .204 was the lexus  Then I threw some wind drift and energy figures of the 39SBK and the 60gr. V-max. So far he hasn't replied

Tell them to go to http://www.remington.com and go to the ammo sction and compare the 204 Ruger 32 Gr bullet to the 223 Rem, 22-250, with the 50 Gr bullets. The little 204 is one fine round..
