I went to the local gun shop and placed two Browning Reproductions on consignment. The 1886 sold but the Model 65 had no takers. So I took it back. That meant that I had to DROS it again, pay $35.00 for the privilege, and wait 10 days to get it back. The state had to be sure I hadn't committed a crime in the meantime before I took it back. Kinda liked pre-1968 law better, in those days I walked into a gun shop in Louisville, KY, while showing horses at the State Fair, and bought a pistol - walked out with it within minutes. Same in California, no waiting period for long guns, handguns took three days. Could sell anything person to person.

When I went to sign the paper work and look at the gun, it turns out it had rings with it. The last CZ two CZ's I bought did not have any. Has somebody been helping themselves to my rings? Now I have an extra pair as I bought a pair of Burris'. Anybody looking for a pair of CZ rings?
