I'm actually getting two different looks, depending on when I login.

- One looks very familiar to the original

- The other looks more gray with lighter shaded fonts.

I haven't made any changes in my profile.

I'm seeing the same thing. If I'm logged in it looks somewhat like the old site. I was confused as to where to login but I'm use to being confused :)

Now that helped a whole bunch. Even made the print darker and a lot easier to see. But I still don't like the new format! :wall:

Thank you for your patience and kind feedback over the past week. There has been a lot going on under the hood, and a few things I wanted to update you on.
  1. The database has been optimized, and compression and caching have been enabled, so browsing and searching should be much zippier now. If it ever seems to bog down or not display correctly, press Ctrl+R to hard refresh.
  2. The rugerhunting.com domain name is no longer working, so make sure to use 204ruger.com.
  3. For now there are two styles to choose from. They can be changed by clicking on your user name -> User Control Panel -> Board Preferences Tab.

prosilver is the bluish style that is very close to the previous style.
subway is a new brown style with big buttons and black text.
Thanks for your support!

Can it be set up with an option to see all the new posts, in all the sections, in one place? That would be really handy to keep up with the current discussions.

Click on the QUICK LINKS tab at the top left of the page under the crosshairs when you 1st log in. The drop down menu gives you 2 options to do just that. HTH

I checked the "new" site just after it opened back up a few weeks ago. Kinda lost it over the then-slow downloads and failure to respond. No excuse, but have been dealing with some frustrating health issues after a work accident. May have threatened to never return. Ran into a buddy who said it's much smoother now, and it is. I apologize and wish you guys only the best. Hope I'm not booted off, and promise a cooler head will prevail in the future.
