So I got to shoot my ocw/ladder today, sharpied bullets rock! Shot 25_29gr in .5gr increments. 27 to 28.5gr is the clusteted group of 10 shots all in all this gun shoots!
me and a buddy switched out 3 for 3 so this target is 2 people shooting. I think i have a winner. im goin to load 10 each at 26.5-28gr and shoot them again and see what that tells me. then ill start fine tuning. Ill try to get to 200 soon also.
All in all im very happy with how the rifle is performing.
Some small info we shot 1 29gr round had a flat primer and showed ejector swipe. my chrono was acting up think battery was NFG so i have no velocity #'s.

Re: Mossberg MVP in 204 ruger, review
I tried getting one of the MVPs 24" barrel in 223 but to no avail... I found a predator model 18" barrel. I didn't like the way it looks, kind of small, perfect for a Ranch owners. I ended up with the CZ in 204... Anyway, thank you for a good read and a really good break down of the MVP...
