As Bodei said earlier, not in the 204, but they do have Zombie, factory loads in 223 and some of the pistol rounds. Anyway that are the one's I have seen on dealers shelves. Bill K

Not that this really helps you...
The difference, besides the color obviously; is the jacket.
The Zmax bullets are Vmax, but utilize the new AMP jacket tech.
From a discussion on another forum, the suspicion IIRC is that this is a plating type method, rather than cup-n-core.
I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.

I was informed that the only difference between them was the Zombie yellow tip vrs the V-Max red. Bill K

Fiocchi makes a V-max loaded .204 if that helps.

Just to confirm what Darrker posted about the jacket on the Z-Max, here's a link to specific information about that bullet and its construction:

z max are flat base while v max have a slight boat tail.

the shop did not have any z max bullets left so i bought more v max. they have been out of brass for a while.

I talked with a Hornady tech several months ago.......he told me the z-max and v-max were exactly the same, except for bullet tip. They shoot the same in my guns, so I'm taking his word for it!
