Re: Rem SPS varmint
I picked one up a few years ago, and have been very happy with it. I shoot the 39gr blitzking, RL-10X, hornady brass, 205M primers. From a clean barrel the first 5 shots form a very small ragged hole. After it gets a little dirty, the groups open up to 8-9 mm for the rest of the day.
Accuracy was great, even with the crappy plastic stock. The barrel is fairly heavy, so when I free floated it, it didn't make any difference. I put a cool Joel Russo A5-L laminate stock on it (pillar bed) and it shot the same.
