Hahaha Thanks Gary. No new Coopers  But it did get a new Jewel trigger for the .243 AI. MAN that thing is SWEEET. I also got a sear and hammer kit for the 10/22 which made the trigger pretty good for a 10/22. Can't compare it to the Jewel though  I guess it's more of a pearl ;)

Verm2: Hope you had a good BD, Ben...sounds like some very cool presents. Welcome to the world of Jewell triggers too; you'll be completely spoiled now, and most factory triggers are gonna feel like junk after you've been caressing that Jewell for a few months.....very, very good stuff! ;)

Happy 16!

It was a good birthday. We went out and skipped school for a day to do some chuck shooting. Upped the tally another 16 chucks(just me, dad had another 16) with the farthest shot being 562, first shot. Here are some pictures I took.

302 yards

220 yards

200 yards

Here is another chuckzilla that Dad shot. Weighed 10.5 lbs, not the heaviest we killed, but he was as long as the stock on my Dad's cooper.

And another Mega chuck that we didn't shoot. Let him fatten up a bit more before we go back

Nice pics Verm2. That's the best way to spend the day playing "hooky" from school.
