BR Pivot available AGAIN

Post by Rick in Oregon »

A quick note to all who have PM'd me, emailed me, and called me in regard to the BR Pivot being available again from Caldwell......I just got the word that they are again available from MidwayUSA or Battenfield Technolgies, and many of their dealers. They have also reduced their price from the original offering that got folks riled up. They're much more attractively priced now.

The "new" BR Pivot has a welded steel base and steel tubing legs, making it heavier than my old units, but it's basically the exact same bench, being offered with a solid edge-glued hardwood or synthetic top.

Mike, just in time for your PD trip!

Rick: Are you referring to me? Unfortunately, I just got back from my trip last week. Great info on the BR Pivot, though!

Mike, yup, that would be you, and I forgot if you had gone yet or not (CRS ya know). The man himself sent me an email, and it appears now they can't make them fast enough because of dealer backorders.

I posted some pictures of my South Dakota outing down in the Varmint Hunting section, in case you hadn't seen them yet.

I like the new price from Midway! Much more in line with what I had initially expected and as long as the quality is there I will snap one up soon.

I just placed my order, and Midway says they "are available". I hope I get it in time for my WY PD hunt.

Orion: With that super-primo new 204 of yours on your new bench setup, the dogs are in for an even worse day it appears. When you get back, tell us the truth as to if or not you actually laughed out loud during your outing, okay? I know where my bet is....... ;)

Remember that camera!

Rick,

I can't tell you how happy I am to be able to get a BR Pivot for my trip. Don't worry, the camera will be first thing packed! I took the new rifle for a test drive today. I was pleased to say the least!
