Ultramax Ammunition

Post by sniper model 12 »

Has anyone shot this ammo? It's a factory reloaded ammunition from what I can see. Speer, Federal, Hornady, etc. brass with JHP bullets 230 gr.

I picked up 3 boxes of .45 ACP for $31 dollars a box. It's the only 45 cal ammo I've been able to find in a 4 county area of southern Ohio.  :D

One fella behind the counter said that he had never shot it or heard any about it, and another fella behind the counter said that it worked well in his 9mm but he had to load the magizines with all of the same brass in order to get the most consistant feeds and cycling.

I figured that since it is a factory reload it SHOULD be okay. I'll be inspecting all brass and primers prior to shooting.

Any advise or comments would be greatly appreciated! :D
