Small rifle Primers

I know there is a shortage of Primers but does anybody have any knowledge of a supply house that still has some that would share with fellow members. Rat season has started !!

Exactly NONE of the major mail-order places have any primers at all, and I expect, after this weekend, that my own source will sell all they have (this is the Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot weekend, and they'll sell out of most everything). I stocked up when the stocking was good. I suggest everyone do likewise whenever possible.

Here in Florida I have only found them at gun shows, But there is one gun shop that has lots of Federal 205m Dows arms room in Dade city but he is wanting 50.00 a thousand or 250 per case, I bought a case of Rem 7 1/2 recently at a show for 140.00. Good luck!

Your best bet would be a local gunshop that might have some left.
You also might try calling a distributor like Powder Valley and see if you can backorder some.

As Glenn Asher said they are GONE from the major supply houses. If these distributors get some in they won't updating their site as they will fill backorders. (back in 2004 this was the only way to buy 204R ammo, order a bunch and wait)
I notice Midway is not taking backorders.
Its getting scarier all the time.

I'm wondering if the Pentagon is overstocking while they still have a workable budget.
Hopefully they learned a valuable lesson when Clinton was in office.

It is like a bidding war at Gun Broker for primers, crazy prices over there. :|

I just call Powder Valley when I run low and place a order. Last time I ordered (about 60 days ago) 10K of 7 1/2's and I waited about 6 weeks. I think the key is having them on order when primers or powder shows up and being at the top of the list....Just my opinion.....MS
