Is it me?......

Post by huntsman22 »

Seems I have to log in just about every visit, even tho the box for staying logged is checked. And these pesky runtime error boxes that keep popping up, are driving me insane.......Anyone else? What's the fix for this computard?.......thanks. Don

Don: It must be a local thing, as I've not had that irritating issue now for over 8 months. No answer, but I understand the frustration from having it happen to me in the past...... :?

I'm able to stay logged on each time I return to the forum. Like Rick, I remember when there was a glitch and I had to log in with each visit and I definitely feel your pain. I hope that a speedy resolution can be found for you.

I'm having the same problem. I log in on the board and when I go to make a post I have to log in again. I had to do a double login just to post this.
Enjoy it while you have it, because things will change.

I had that problem too. I can't really remember what the deal was but back then when I clicked on the 204 icon on my desktop it brought me to the homepage-not the forum page. I eliminated that icon and replaced it with a new one that automatically brings me to the forum page. Now I'm always logged in. Try that to see if it helps. Dave

While everyone is on the subject.. Often while I'm browsing the forum I will randomly be taken to the yellow page web site. something about carpet cleaning..

On a different forum (varminter) I registered on Dec 1st and "still" don't have posting priviliges there, after revalidating and all of that. Now I don't even hear from the moderators any more. Oh well....

Be careful which advertisements you access because some will spam ya' real good (you're mail box will never be empty).

No problem here. Try Firefox as a browser. It's much faster and stable than IE. It'll keep track of your passwords for you also. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/
I also use Thunderbird for email.
