Bullet drop at 50 meters need conversion to sight in

First post on this fine forum.Hi everyone
Drove a hour this morning to take the brand new remington VSSF 11 204 to the nearest 100 meter range to run and sight it in. ( will post some pics tonight when the missus gets home )
Only to be turned away due to them closing the range to the general members with out notice to any members, because there saturday (yesterday) benchrest competion has run longer than expected.
Not happy Jane What is it with these benchrest guys ? they seem to think they are more important then everbody else .
Sorry for the rant but i am not happy
My Question is ,since I have a indoor 50 meter range 5 minutes from my home can somebody please tell me what is the correct height to sight in the 204 at 50 meters ?
I will be using the factory Hornady 32gr V-maxs .
This way I can pop down the road and wont have to drive a hour back to the 100 meter range
I live in Australia ,thus the use of meters
any help appreciated

Welcome to the forum Jason

If I'm reading your post correctly you want to know how low the 32gn will be at 100yds compared to your 50 meter zero. If so.
At 4100fps the 32 should be .8" to .9" low at 100yds.

This is using yards instead of meters but your definately on paper.

What I am basically asking is if you sight in 1" high at 100 yards what would be the sight in height at 50 yards

The trajectory of the 32 grain V-Max bullet, zeroed for a maximum bullet rise of 1.5", should look like this: +0.1" at 50 yards, +1.1" at 100 yards, +1.5" at 150 yards, +1.1" at 200 yards, -0.3" at 250 yards, -2.7" at 300 yards. The maximum point blank range of the .204 Ruger (+/- 1.5") is approximately 277 yards (calculated for a scope mounted 1.5" above the bore).

This is very close to what I get at 50 meters (also have indoor range thats close and convenient)

Dont know if this helps,but you would need to be 0.46 low at 50yds,to be spot on at 100.

It depends on how high above the bore the sighting device is.

Hornady has a balistics caclualtor on their site that will grind out the numbers.
