I tried to lighten the trigger on my LVSF (and succeded),But still wasn`t happy with it,so i bought a Timney trigger.Huge improvment.Just a bit fiddley too fit.
If you do want to try to lighten your trigger though, there`s loads of info on the net for the Remi 700 trigger.
Good luck,Jamie. :)

Well I took the info from sniper country on trigger adjustment very good instructions, but the rear screw will not come loose I have soaked it in nail polish remover and breakfree penatrating oil. I have broken the tips on two screwdrivers and bent the tips of two others. This seems to be the way it always goes when working with the factory trigger. Now I have to dig my way out of a hole again. Its never as easy as the instructions make it.

I send all my triggers to Neil Jones Custom Products. The best $65.00 you will ever spend. They are better than a Basix and very close to a Jewell when completed. If your not familiar with the assembly, it's easy. Just pay attention to the bolt stop.

Right now I am soaking the trigger in every chemical I have around the house to break the screw free thats in the rear. I have used tulone, acetone, denatured alcohol, break free oil,WD40. I have ground down screw driver tips and will be going to the store for more acetone. If I ruin the screw I will have to replace the trigger with some thing else. Timney, Jewel or Rifle Basix. I hate to send it out but I might consider that two. At least I have the Ruger for a back up. I was hoping to have this Rifle dialed in for my squirrel trip as one of the rifles that I could rotate through to let the barrels cool.
