Here is a pic of my Ruger 77 Ultra lite all weather.Scope is weaver 2to 10 .Seeing how this thing groups an upgrade in glass is mandatory.

I would think the 2x10 would be perfect for an ultra light sporter. No?

Nice rig!! :wink: Whats it's main purpose?? That scope might be just what you need for predators in brushy areas where they'll be within 100yds. Just a thought. :wink:

Main purpose is walking varminter/predator for open mountainous terain.Thinking of going either with a Burris or Leupold in 4-12x42 or 4.5-14x42.Its not so much a hair cut as a genetic modification to cool a large and complex brain.

You won't find a better scope for a walking varminter than the Leupold VX-III 4 1/2 - 14. Crystal clear, easy eye relief, not too big, and just the right power range. Been using one on my 22-250 light sporter for years...

Shoots dime size cloverleaf.I should get some calipers and actualy measure them.
