thanks guys....great forum btw
Yes, the fluting is black..it looks really cool in person
yeah, I took it out for the first time and shot a box of 32 grain Hornady and a half box of 40 grain Hornady though it. At 50 yards I was shooting clovers, at 100 yards I could group about 1 inch and at 200 yards about 2.5 inches. It seemed to like the 32 grain better and I think I could have grouped better with some additional time. I must say I am impressed with the Kimber. It just feels amazing to fire. I am going to shoot it again friday and see if I can get it dialed in a bit better at 200 yards. It was pretty cool to see how flat it is at 200 compared to 100 yards. Just about dead on! Amazing little round and really fun to shoot
Any other suggestions for factory ammo, or is the hornady the crowd favorite?

Try the Federal 39bk's. They might surprise you.
If your not a handloader you will be. That rig will do things like that to you
Nice piece, Welcome to the forum and let us know how it goes.
