No I haven't had a chance to get out and shoot it yet. I am working on loads for a Cooper 221 fireball first...then I will get to it.
Yes the 204 is French Walnut and it belongs in my Cooper stable LOL.... I got this 6.5x284 from Gulf Breeze firearms in Florida. This is his picture of it ..I haven't taken one yet as I am waiting for the rings to be engraved to match the gun....

I need to win the Lotto!
If I owned that 6.5 x 284 I would sit in the corner with it all night - holding and cuddling her! :?
When your attack is going well you are about to be ambushed.

I would love to get a 6.5x284 in a Cooper. The only thing that holds me back is that it would be a hunting rifle and I could not live with it being a single-shot. My dad grew up with a pump .270 and he was incredibly fast and accurate with it. He bought a Ruger #1 in a .300 Win Mag. when I was a teenager because he wanted something bigger for elk. But he eventually went back to his pump because he missed some good opportunities for follow-up shots.

I wish Cooper made one with a magazine! :(

Verminator2 is right. They came out with the Model 52 8 or 9 months. I don't have one yet as they started out making only the large cal. 25-06 and bigger. I am more into the smaller cal.
I like more than one round out in the woods too. My Coopers are more for paper and colony shooting. Most have 24X or more which I wouldn't want out in the field.

I just called Cooper and they do make the model 52 that is a repeating rifle. But it only comes in the long action calibers; 25-06, .270, .280 and the 30-06. :(
