First coyote with 34 grain CRT

Post by cornstalker »

Called in this YOY Sunday. I can't say it was a real good bullet test due to poor shooting on my part, but they still did as good as could be asked of them.

First hit was high and back a little too far. The bullet removed everything from the spine up and anchored the coyote. The finisher in the engine compartment pounded it decisively with no exit. It was about 160 yards.

I rolled another one hard on the run later, but it ended up getting away. A poor display of marksmanship for sure. We'll see what I can do this weekend.

It's hard to detect good luck, It looks so much like something you've worked hard for and earned.
