A couple off of the ole "meatsickle"

Took these scruffy ones off of the 'Meatsickle" from the back of the deck. Both shot at about 260 yds out with the Savage BTVSS 204 using 39 gr BK's.

I do get the occasional "splash" but they do work pretty good and they fly like lasers.

Alright, the meatsickle is at work again. How far is the rifle from the Lazy Boy chair again??? :lurk: Wish I had one like that.

Nice shooting.

I know it's probably is the camera angle but the coyote in the bottom picture sure has a funny looking muzzle. It sure is a coyote, but look at the broadness non tapering of the muzzle. Also I see a broader rounded nose and lower jaw. The crown of its head and even the eyes.

Was the bottom coyote in the picture a male? It is defiantly a coyote, but to me it sure has a strange head? Looks like one I shot several years ago. It was a male but sure had a strange head. On that set, three males came in during mating season. The one I'm talking about weighed about 15 pounds heavier that the other two. cause I shot all three. Always raised a question in my mind that mother nature was playing tricks.

Like I said, its probably the camera angle?
