11-12-10 Coyote

Post by Song Dog »

Was heading to a night stand and talked to Clint on the way down to it and he said that morning in the bottom he saw a coyote. Fortunately that was exactly where I was headed. I get set up and was going to set up the CS24 Foxpro and decided to hand call. With in 2 minutes of starting, I saw I set of eyes. I quit call'n and started into lip squeaking. He came out from the timber edge and the Savage 16 drew its first blood at 100 yards or so. He went DRT with the 40 grn Berger.
So today the kids wanted to get pictures so we took some. Here are the kids and the coyote.

They had to get their rifles out for the pics LOL (I love it)

That coyote looks BIG.
The kids look pretty proud of dad's coyote. Enjoy the moment with them.
Enjoy it while you have it, because things will change.
