Walked out to my little blind that is about 85 yards from my bait and sat down to wait for a visitor. It was about 5am so it was still dark and I didn't take a light. About 5:20 I set my gun up and took a look at the bait and WOW. There was a coyote lying on the far side chewing on the ribs and I never saw it. I slowly dropped the hammer on her and she didn't even get off of the deer carcass. I took a shot at her 2 days ago at about 450 yards but needless to say I missed. I had to take a long look at her then because she sat down in the field facing me and boy she looked alot like someones pet husky, right down to the white markings on her head. She is number 6 coyote that I've shot off of the bait at the same tree this year, plus 3 foxes. Its been a good year for me.
