...and only one. Between the rain, wind, and 4 out of state people setting up a 32' Airstream in one of my "honey holes", all I saw was one.

Our primary focus yesterday was practice for next weekends long range shoot, but, thought we could try a few prairie dogs along the way. The 6.5x55 AI shot very well, even in the wind.

This PD was thwacked at 254 yards with a 55 gr VMax from a Savage in 223 AI. He was facing away from me and I caught him just behind the left front shoulder.

You sure knocked the crap out of that one. Those VMAX bullets come apart real well.
