lost his head in fact!
Since the 6/250 jumps a little too much to see the action in the scope I called "pretty sure I got him, did anyone see?"
No, so we drove over to check. On the way i said "if i got him, I got him between the eyes as the reflectors were the only things I could see"
we drove the 100m or so with the light held on the spot where he had been.
I dont think he suffered!
I was shooting pretty well the last 2 nights. The 6/250 does what it was designed to do perfectly. I've got to stop taking it to the range, it's supposed to be a spotlighting rifle, not a target rifle.
he got carried away.....
Re: he got carried away.....
thats a mess, thats the only way to do them, headshots. We lamp foxes all year round here and due to my addiction to headshots I see messy ones but I have to admit that is one of the worst I have seen.

Very nice shooting.Little doubt about the last thing to go through his mind.
I only have to be lucky once,
the fox has to be lucky every time!

WOW!
A government which robs Peter to pay Paul can always count on the support of Paul.
