Went for a night hunt missed a coyote but bagged a Fox.
I had gone out hunting several times over the week end both day and night. Watched one coyote I couldn't shoot at because of the location. Moved on drove up on a couple of bobcats, ruined that chance. Finely I went to a location called in a fox made a close shot. Then moved again and called in a coyote my sand bag fell off its rest I tried to relocate it and it fell again so I decided to shoot off hand wound up honking the horn with my elbow. Thought I had blown the stand but when I brought my light up I located the coyote again. I bobled the shot the coyote didn't seem that excited I jacked the bolt for another round and the shell slid up and jammed the coyote walked off into the dark. Dam I was having some troubles but it was fun any way.

I shot across his chest and opened a wound low on his chest but not a problem. The shot was very close may be 10 ft away nothing to brag about. I hid the wound from the camera shot. The fox was a small one. Nice fur though.
