Summer time coyote

My usual routine is to get up around 5 AM, put the coffee on and slip out onto the deck to see what kind of day it's going to be and to see if anything is out in the field. It's not unusual to see deer down at the end of the field or out in the neighbor's bean field. Sometimes they are in my yard. Two different times in the last week I've seen a coyote leaving my field and crossing into the bean field. Two days ago my wife and I were sitting on the deck and saw a coyote come out of the uncut wheat and walk up to my 300 yard backstop, nose around and then proceed across to the bean field. I decided then it was time to have the CZ at the ready.
This morning I stepped out about 5:05 and saw a coyote digging in the wheat stubble 169 yards (lasered) from the house.

The coyote was just to the right of the clothesline post next to the trees.



I went back into the house, grabbed the CZ and slipped into a chair and took a rest off of the deck table. The coyote was quartering away from me and I shot it between the last two ribs. No exit, but mush inside.

Here's the way I found it.



It was a young female and loaded with ticks. Here is the view from the coyote looking toward the house.

I'm shooting the 39 gr. Sierra B.K. with 28.0 Gr. of H4895. They're averaging a little over 3850 f.p.s. out of my CZ 527 Varmint.
