That last one was in Wyoming some years back. My state is 96 % private land, so you really have to work at getting access.
The more people I know, the more I love my dog.

That is one thing I still enjoy and like about my commie state and the area I live in. It has thousands of acres of BLM and USFS land, which is open to roam all over in. And the terrain varys from sage/rim rock to forest/timer. And there is lot of private land, but a lot of it can be accessed with a conversation with the owner, at least in this N.E. portion of my state. :D
