Was able to get out this week to take down some more Central MT PDogs. Cooler and overcast with light rain showers when I arrived at first town. Shot 3 rounds with 2 kills, definitely less in this town. Moved to a new area the landowner wanted me to shoot in since he had moved his cow/calves out. A large area with 2 dog towns to shoot at, where I set up to shot was pretty much right between the two towns, most shots about 250 yards. Took awhile to get the distance as my rangefinder had a difficult time getting a distance since it was so flat and no large objects to get a accurate distance. Once I got the right distance they went down quickly. Shot in this area about 2 hours until the wind started blowing about 25 mph, so that was the end of shooting. :x
Picture is from 294 yards back to my truck, the old red water truck has been there a long time by looking at the cab and tires.
