I'm getting my gear together for the opening of Teal Season next weekend. I'm thinking about taking up coyote hunting since Texas is being overrun lately. There's no closed season on coyotes here.

Skipper: I sure would go to calling, either with a mouth ( which I use and prefer, most of the time) or with a electronic, so many good models out there, along with a small decoy of some sort, to get them to focus on it, rather than you. I do use a electronic at times. But always the decoy, have a small battery powered one with a rod and a piece of fur on it, that shakes around. And from what I hear Texas is full of coyotes and bobcats. Bill K

Bill, I see factory ammo on the table, what's the deal?
I was up in Burney for Dove opener, we did OK, would have been better if our secret spot wasn't so well known. Doves came into this feeding place from every possible direction over 80' pines...talk about keeping one's head on a swivel!! Yeah, I know no pics.

Old factory box, from who knows how long ago for I believe 223 R. Just using it to hold reloads for the ruger. Mostly when I am trying out a couple different loads, use them and mark the cases/box. I don't shoot very much factory in the rifles, but the boxes are still handy. Bill K
