The weather was somewhat nicer, mostly sunny, grabbed a couple rifles and headed out. Rats were a plenty in
the area. These were taken with the 20 SCC as were many others, also with a 221 FireBall.

VS: Looks like you and Bill are at it early this year. You know of course, that you're ratcheting up the excitement level though for everyone, right?
I just finished up another 100 rounds of 221FB for my Cooper Phoenix, that makes 800 for each rifle I'll be taking next trip out. With the mild winter, I may come home with empty boxes if all goes well, as it appears the rats will be out in force early this year. Yippie-ky-yay!

Yes the excitement is taking hold. There were other shooters across from me in another field. From the sounds of it they
were doing quite well also. Bill K and I ventured out Thursday also for a chuck fun. The weather was just a little to cool with
a slight breeze making pickings slim. Did manage to get a couple though.

Crystal clear, sunny, and quite cold at 17 degrees with some skiffs of snow. Coldness didn't seem to damper sage rat activity though.

Varmint Shooter, I have that Caldwell bench and would like to install a better top on it. I really like the looks of the one in your photo. Could you post a top view photo with the dimensions. If so it would be greatly appreciate. If you prefer you can send me a PM.
Thanks, pre64win
