I've been using the 40gr Bergers on coyotes around here when I get a chance. They have worked really well for me. I just thought I would try some 45gr SP's just for kicks. This load shoots 1/2"-3/4" at 100yds which is plenty good for the ranges I'll be shooting at. So I've kept all shots under 100yds on Ohio groundhogs of varying sizes & distances. No range finder was used since no shots were going to be long enough to care. And they have not disappointed me. There's a little blood here & there in these next pics so beware.
If somebody is on the fence with these bullets here's what I've gotten from them.

This was an exceptionally big hog. Head shot at 85yds +/-.
25yds max on this one. Looks to be one from last year that avoided the coyotes in this hay field.
Edited to add a 75yd +/- broadside shot thru both shoulders. The 45 really did it's job well.
