Couple Ohio groundhogs.

Post by Glen »

39gr BK to the head as it was coming toward me. Wouldn't lift it's head very high or set up & I had a little elevation advantage so I buried one in the think tank. This was how I found it.

Rolled it over & found this.

Just a young one. But it opened up nicely.

On the roll over.

Another young one from the same 20yd area. Not much damage on this one.

Blew this one back down into the hole. Couldn't get a decent pic of it tho. There is some brain matter at the end of this blood string.

Nice shooting. What caliber were you using?
Here is another Ohio groundhog that I got a couple days ago using my 20VT with 32 gr. Nosler BT

Sorry Bobby. It's a 204. Looks like you have well behaved hogs in your neighborhood as well.
